Water Powered Can Clock

Posted by Ali on 12:17 PM

These clocks would be great to sit on a desk or tabletop to make it easier to keep track of the time.
The water in the can will actually last between 6 to 12 months before you need to add water to the clock. Which means the clock won’t really take any more maintenance than a normal clock with batteries would. Plus, since it doesn’t require batteries it’ll also run cheaper than the rest. When you combine the fact that it runs cheaply with it being a cheap clock to begin with, it makes it an ideal arrangement.

Wireless Outdoor Speakers

Posted by Ali on 12:14 PM

The ZipConnect Wireless Outdoor Speakers are great for using outside, especially with your iPod, but it works with any MP3 player, CD player, and even satellite radio, it just needs a headphone jack.
The set comes with two speakers, which are weatherproof, which does not mean they are waterproof. Don’t expect audiophile quality sound, but it should be enough, and there’s bass boost, but that’s about as advanced as the options get.
Your iPod is housed in a little box, also weatherproof, that has the ZipConnect Module, which will connect and charge your iPod, but will also connect any other MP3 player.
The included wireless remote allows you to control volume, and auto-scan frequency tuning. The remote is powered by 2 AA batteries, the speakers, however, require much more power; you’ll need 6 C batteries/speaker or use the included AC adapter if you’ve got a plug handy.
The wireless part operates at a 900 MHz frequency, and the device has a range of up to 150 feet, but for the best quality, the closer is the better

USB Alien With Creepy Illuminated Tongue

Posted by Ali on 11:52 AM

The Christmas season is coming up and nothing says Merry Christmas like a creepy novelty USB gadget. If you know someone that’s still a huge fan of Alien, this creepy little guy may be pointless, but at least he’s cool. He does actually do a few tricks after he’s plugged into your computer, but he doesn’t actually store any of your data.
The miniature alien plugs into your USB port, not to transfer data, but to make it look even more spooky. As soon as it’s plugged in through the tail, the mouth pops open and spits out the creepy alien tongue. The mouth also lights up to a nice bright red. Then after it’s plugged in, it will just at random do the same process all over again.

Lego Mouse

Posted by Ali on 11:27 AM

This Lego mouse probably isn’t something that’s remotely ergonomic, but its sheer amount of awesomeness makes up for that. The mouse has all the usual buttons including the left and right buttons as well as having a scroll wheel. It hooks up through your USB port to either your PC or Mac. The optical mouse only comes in bright red, so hopefully that’s the color you wanted.
